Dallas Startup Week Brings Would-Be Tycoons Together
By India Pougher //
Dallas is home to a host of startup companies, including rewardStyle and TangoTab, but in an effort to grow the entrepreneurial spirit, Dallas’ own week-long enterprise-focused event, Dallas Startup Week, has returned for another five-day stint following a successful premiere last year.
Through April 16, local business owners, tech experts and entrepreneurs from all fields gather to hear 230 speakers discuss ideas and advancements in entrepreneurship.
The event, sponsored by Chase, features 15 themes and presentations on everything from fashion business to hackathons.
Each day concludes with a spotlight session highlighting each of the tracks. This year’s four sessions will feature Brad Hunstable, the co-founder and CEO of UStream.tv, Dallas New Tech, Ignite DFW and a women and diversity panel moderated by Trey Bowles of the Dallas Entrepreneur Center.
