The Best National Sandwich Week Deal Ever
Feel Good About Chowing Down
By Jailyn Marcel //
National Sandwich Week has officially commenced, and one sandwich chain is serving up subs for a cause. Now through Friday, November 6, Which Wich — the sandwich franchise famous for its customizable sandwiches and personalized ordering bags — will donate 20 percent of all dine-in and take-out sales to Kids’ Meals Inc. Just place your order at any of the 26 Houston-area locations and mention Kids’ Meals at checkout.
Kids’ Meals is the nation’s only meals-on-wheels program servicing preschool-aged children — ages 1 through 5 – who are too young to attend school, therefore disqualifying them from breakfast and lunch programs. The program delivers free meals every weekday to local children living in poverty. The organization delivers 2,500 meals a day and is expecting a total of 1 million meals to be delivered by 2018.
