Commodore Perry Estate in Austin, Texas, 1928

This Mediterranean-style estate on 10 acres of gardens in Austin was designed by architect Henry Bowers Thompson for real estate developer Edgar “Commodore” Perry and his wife, Lutie. It’s now an Auberge Resorts Collection hotel with interiors reimagined by San Francisco designer Ken Fulk.
