The 52-story downtown skyscraper designed by Dallas architects George Dahl and Thomas Stanley was restored in 2020 to house the Thompson Hotel and retains such original features as teakwood panels inlaid with brass and 17,555 hand-cut exterior marble panels sourced from the same quarry as marble used for the Parthenon.
