Join Houston Symphony Governing Director and Chair Barbara J. Burger, and Co-chairs Kusum and K. Cody Patel for the 2019 Opening Night Concert and Gala. The Symphony will welcome American conductor Leonard Slatkin for the exciting program, featuring music by Ravel, Barber, and Prokofiev. Slatkin and the orchestra will also be joined by international piano legend, Yefim Bronfman. The evening will begin at Jones Hall with a champagne reception and Opening Night concert, Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 3. Following the concert, the celebration will continue at The Ballroom at Bayou Place with a seated, multi-course dinner. Attire is Black Tie.
