The 2023 Model of the Year Awards will embrace the lively and glamorous atmosphere of Studio 54, encouraging attendees to dress up as their favorite 70s icons. Qiana James will take on the role of Chair, while the exceptional Gayla Gardner will act as Honorary Chair. The occasion will honor distinguished individuals recognized as “Women of Influence,” including Dr. Vanessa Barrow, Jessica Hatch Farrokhza, Dr. Cheryl Murphy Haseeb, LeBrina Jackson, Staci LaToison, Malaika Mukoro, Milka Waterland, and Susan Hough, all celebrated for their exceptional contributions in philanthropy, volunteerism, and professional accomplishments. Additionally, the event will pay tribute to Cheryl Creuzot, recipient of the “Model of a Lifetime” award in recognition of her significant achievements. The event will benefit the Doll Foundation, seeking to raise funds for five urgent programs: the Adopt a Senior Program, the Family Caregiver Respite Program, the CNA Scholarship Program, the Caregiver Life Skills Program, and an Emergency Relief Fund.
