Dallas’ National Philanthropy Day celebration brings together area nonprofits, volunteers, funders, foundations, business and community members to honor many of this city’s finest who give selflessly in support of numerous worthy causes.

Title of Presentation: “It’s Our Tomorrow”
Tomorrow—the future—belongs to all of us, coming together under the banner of philanthropy to improve our communities, our country and our world. With Americans giving nearly $400 billion to charity every year, and charities making up 10 percent of the workforce, the charitable sector is playing a bigger role than ever in our future. Lee will talk about the impact of charity and philanthropy and remind us that we all have a role to play in changing the world.

Honorees: Seven award categories honor those in the community who exemplify commitment, dedication, and talent toward helping their neighbors:
• Outstanding Philanthropist – Sandra & Henry Estess
• Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser – Lynn McBee
• Outstanding Fundraising Executive – Pagett Gosslee, CFRE
• Outstanding Foundation – The Hersh Foundation
• Outstanding Corporation – Neiman Marcus
• Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy – Micah Pinson
• Special Recognition Award – Terry Simmons (posthumous)

Tickets: $85 each, $850 for a table of 10, or $1,250 for a premium table of 10. Sponsorships available beginning at $2,500. (After 11/1/2017, individual tickets are $95 per person.)
