Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation’s Young Professional’s Group will host the annual Storybook Gala on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 7 to 11 p.m. at Union Station in Daikin Park. This year’s gala promises to be an unforgettable evening inspired by the classic romance of Romeo and Juliet. Guests will enjoy a night of elegance and fun, featuring music by the fabulous Drywater Band. Proceeds will benefit childhood literacy programs across Houston. All proceeds from this “party with a purpose” will support the Foundation’s mission to help Houston’s youngest and most vulnerable children gain the literacy skills needed for success in school, work, and life.
