As part of its popular Beats & Brews series, MAVEN at Sawyer Yards is hosting a special edition called Beats, Brews, & Barks on Sunday, May 25, from 11:15 a.m. to 2 p.m., combining laid-back DJ sets in a cozy coffee shop atmosphere. In partnership with the LMJ Foundation – founded by two-time World Series Champion and cofounder of MAVEN Lance McCullers Jr. – this event highlights animal welfare and pet adoption, with adoptable dogs on-site from the LMJ Foundation and Harris County.
The event also welcomes members of the Loose Lance Run Club to kick off their run at 11:15 a.m., where attendees are welcome to take an adoptable furry friend along the route, before finishing at MAVEN at Sawyer Yards to join in on the Beats & Brews experience. Guests are encouraged to bring their own dogs to enjoy the festivities, including a pop-up from Lucky Dog Mobile Groomers, who will be offering complimentary nail trims for four-legged attendees.
In addition to specialty coffee creations and a live set by DJ Saynt Chris, the event will feature local vendors including Cryptic Mushroom Bars, Sam & Davy, Soft & Salted Cookies, Tequila Trouble, Khango Supplements, New Balance, and Momentum Gym. This high-energy event is the perfect way to spend a Sunday while supporting a good cause.
