Join ALG Fine Art for the opening night of “The Long Journey Home,” a solo exhibition by Resident Artist Christi Meril. The show brings together 21 works across canvas, wood, and sculpture, incorporating charcoal, ethically sourced redwood, paper, resin, and other materials, with every charcoal mark in the show originating from a single fire. Described as Meril’s most personal show to date, the exhibition explores memory, home, and what we carry on the journey back to ourselves, drawing on her years spent in Northern California, the Rockies, Santa Fe, and New York before returning to Dallas. Guests can enjoy art themed cocktails and a toast to the artist, with an exclusive first look at the show.
