CitySquare’s annual fundraiser, A Night to Remember, has been a staple in the fall fundraising season for almost two decades presenting performances by entertainment legends to sold-out audiences. This year, with events impacted by COVID-19, the organization has “cooked up” a special evening, offering sponsors a gathering in their own homes where they can determine an event fitting their comfort level. To add to the community impact, CitySquare has engaged local hospitality vendors and small business owners who have been hard-hit by the pandemic to make the evening possible. Depending on sponsorship level, certain ticket holders will get to experience an extraordinary dining experience by Chef Jordan Swim of Vestal’s Catering, as well as professional service, sommelier wine paring, musical entertainment, floral décor, guest gifts, and more.
Community leaders Karen and Tom Falk will serve as honorary chairs for this year’s CitySquare fundraiser. The two served as co-chairs of the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas fundraising campaign for 2013–14 and 2019–20. They are members of United Way’s Ruth Sharp Altshuler Tocqueville Society and have a legacy of supporting a wide variety of Dallas based organizations, including City Square.
All proceeds from the event will directly support CitySquare’s poverty fighting programs.
