The Immunization Partnership (TIP) will welcome over 300 guests to the “Courage in Action” luncheon. This year marks the 14th annual luncheon which benefits The Immunization Partnership whose mission is to eradicate vaccine-preventable diseases by educating the community, advocating for evidence-based public policy, and supporting immunization best practices.
Keynote speaker Marie Brenner, author of The Desperate Hours: One Hospital’s Fight to Save a City on the Pandemic Front Lines, will share the challenges faced by one of our nation’s preeminent hospitals during the inception of the pandemic.
Co-chaired by Susan Feigin Harris, JD, and Rosie Valadez McStay, MPH, the statewide nonprofit hosts the annual event to focus community leaders and advocates on the importance of immunization and to recognize healthcare leaders who have stood up to dissent as they protect public health in Texas.
