“Garden Bliss – Magical Abundance” 20th Anniversary A Writer’s Garden Literary Symposium and Luncheon

This year the event is celebrating its 20th anniversary and benefiting the Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden and the development and maintenance of A Woman’s Garden, the centerpiece garden of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden.

A Writer’s Garden features literary presentations about horticulture, gardens, landscape design, historic preservation and art featuring nationally and internationally renowned authors and speakers. This year there are three featured speakers: Edmund Hollander and Melissa Reavis, Partners of Hollander Design Landscape Architects, New York, and Ngoc Minh Ngo, an author, photographer, and speaker widely regarded as one of the world’s most poetic landscape and botanical photographers.

The morning begins with a reception, followed by the symposium, which is always entertaining and informative. Then luncheon is served and the speakers/authors sign their books, which are available for purchase. Dorothea Meltzer is chair. Rose Gault is president of the Women’s Council.

Tickets

Patron tickets are $500 per person and include the Symposium and Luncheon. Sponsor tickets start at $1,000 per person and include the “Meet the Authors” Reception and Sponsor Party, Symposium and Luncheon. Event sponsor opportunities are available at various levels and benefits.
