FORT WORTH, TX – GoGames360, the first 360 degree gaming marathon encompassing video games, tabletop games, and physical games launches its 1st annual GoGames360DFW. Taking over the Hyatt Regency DFW at 2334 N International Pkwy, DFW Airport, TX 75261 on January 26 – 28, 2018. GoGames360 incorporate the three realms of games – electronic, tactile, and physical games. GoGames360 is a family-friendly event and street teams are distributing over 50,000 complimentary 1-hour free play passes to local students in the area.
GoGames360 hours are Friday, January 26 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Saturday January 27 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM and Sunday January 28 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The highlight of the weekend is the Regional Pokémon Championships brought to the main ballroom by Overload Events. Participants will battle in Pokémon trading card game (TCG) and video game. Regional Championships are now taking place all around the world. After the Pokémon International Championships, the Pokémon Regional Championships are the largest events in terms of both attendance and Championship Point payouts. Winners receive cash and prizes plus if they acquire the top number of points throughout the year, they earn an invitation to the Pokémon World Championships. No qualifications or residency restrictions to enter. Special guest Mitsuhiro Arita is an artist born in Fukuoka, Japan who has been working for the Pokémon Company illustrating cards for the Trading Card Game for over 20 years. He will be available on the main stage on Sunday for a Q&A session and will be signing cards and other items at in the vending room throughout the event.
