Step inside the Ion and see how people and companies across industries are pushing innovation forward as part of the 2nd Annual Houston Energy and Climate Startup Week.
At the Ion Open House, partners across the building will open their doors across five+ floors—including corporate offices, suites, technology showrooms, interactive experiences, and community spaces—so visitors can meet the teams solving some of the world’s most pressing challenges. Startups will be showcasing throughout the building, including more than 40 companies on the lower level from the Rice Alliance’s Energy Tech Venture Forum and Clean Energy Accelerator, along with Chevron startups, Rice Nexus startups, and the Activate Fellows.
Whether a Houston native curious about what’s happening above level one or visiting from out of town, this is the chance to experience the startups and innovators that make the Ion Houston’s HQ for Innovation. The Ion is located in the Ion District, 16-acre innovation hub in Houston’s Midtown, powered by Rice University
