Mexico native Marco Antonio Solís, hailed as one of the most important figures in Mexican and Latin music, has been in the music business for decades, beginning with his band Los Bukis in the early ’70s. In the mid-’90s, the artist began his own solo career, scoring platinum certifications for some of his LPs like Quiéreme, Inalcanzable, and Por Amor a Mi Pueblo. Throughout the following decade, he continued to release award winning albums, like Gracias Por Estar Aquí and Por Amor a Morelia Michoacan.
