In the Pink of Health is a group of inspired women who change lives by raising funds to impact these statistics, reduce the incidence of breast and ovarian cancer and assist survivors in their journal.
With its first event in 2001, the goal of In the Pink of Health was to educate women on how to take better care of themselves by raising awareness about women’s health issues. After the first luncheon, it was clear that there was a great power in women coming together to address a serious health issue like breast cancer. In 2014, In the Pink of Health expanded its focus to include ovarian cancer as well. To date, Memorial Hermann In the Pink of Health has raised over $5 million to fight breast and ovarian cancer through education, early detection, and outreach.
