Halloween-inspired Opening Night Party for Frenchies & Friends, a solo exhibition by French-American street artist Sebastien “Mr.D 1987” Boileau, presented by PaperCity Magazine.
About Frenchies & Friends
European comics offer readers a diverse array of characters: Asterix et Obélix, Tintin, les Schtroumpfs, les Minions, and many more. Experience the continent’s comics heritage at the Alliance Française of Houston, showcasing some of the most popular comic characters from France and Belgium. This two-month art exhibition (Oct. 31 – Dec. 14) reimagines beloved cartoon and comic characters from the artist’s childhood, placing them in unexpected contemporary settings that invite us to look beyond the surface.
Expect a night of art, creativity, and playful mischief.
