Join ROCO as the Connections Series continues on Saturday, January 27th with “Blossoms”, in collaboration with The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Rienzi house museum.
Experience an evening of chamber works for oboe, viola and piano in its glorious ballroom, featuring Charles Loeffler’s Rhapsodies and the world premiere of Nicky Sohn’s Colors of Life’s Garden, inspired by the plants and flowers in the 4.4-acre Rienzi Gardens, and Charles Loeffler’s Rhapsodies, along with music by Florence Price, Rebecca Clarke, and Alyssa Morris.
Prior to the concert, enjoy a reception of light bites and refreshments, including an opportunity to experience a docent-led tour of Rienzi.
Tickets are $45 per person, and $15 per student 17 or younger–available at ROCO.org.
