POST Houston is bringing the rodeo spirit downtown with Rodeo Day at POST on Saturday, March 16, featuring a full lineup of Western-themed fun. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., guests can meet award-winning goats, chickens, a goose, lambs, and even a horse at the Cy-Fair High School FFA Livestock Meet & Greet in Barbara Jordan Plaza. The excitement continues in the Z Atrium, where attendees can test their cowboy (or cowgirl) skills on a mechanical bull from 2 to 5 p.m. A live honky tonk performance by Jes Schneider kicks off at 2:15 p.m., followed by a high-energy DJ set from 3:30 to 6 p.m., featuring line dance favorites led by the Rattlesnake Renegades Country Swing & Line Dance Team. The event is free and open to the public, making it the perfect way to celebrate Houston’s rodeo season in the heart of downtown.
