The Orange Show’s annual Crafting Party and Decoration Workshop is back! 2023 Chairs Gerry & Lou Waters, Jr. welcome everyone to come create original hand-made decorations with Houston’s amazing artists, to be featured at the Orange Show’s 42nd Annual Gala on November 4th.
Join the party anytime from 2-7pm, with food from El Patio available for purchase from 3-6pm. Complimentary beverages thanks to our friend sat Saint Arnold Brewing Company.
Get your hands dirty with us and explore your creativity! Each year, we engage the community to help create hand-made decorations for our largest fundraiser of the year, our annual Gala. It’s an incredible opportunity to express your creativity and make something completely unique and wholly YOU, and exemplifies our mission of celebrating the artist in everyone. We make it a point to create these decorations out of found, discarded, and used objects – bringing life to something that may otherwise be considered trash.
For 2023, our gala’s theme is “Where the Wild Things ART,” and we are sourcing the items listed below for the community to create their very own “wild things” at our Wild Things Crafting Party coming up on Saturday, September 30th.
