Wanderlust 108, the world’s only “mindful triathlon,” returns to Houston on October 14, 2017. Wanderlust’s signature triathlon, which is produced in partnership with adidas, attracts thousands for a five-kilometer run (or walk), an outdoor 90-minute yoga class, and a guided meditation. Mindful triathletes will also enjoy music, artisanal vendors, local foods and many surprises throughout the day.
The first leg of Wanderlust 108 will kick off with a 5K run through The Water Works at Buffalo Bayou Park, followed by a high-energy yoga class from Chelsey Korus, and a grounding meditation led by Noah Levine. DJ Taz Rashid will provide the soundtrack to the day’s events.
New this year, participants can add a scheduled bonus class such as aerial yoga, acro-yoga, hooping, walking meditation, photography or essential oils workshops, or a community yoga experience from favorite local teachers. At all Wanderlust 108 events, the Kula Marketplace will showcase local craft vendors, including clothing, jewelry, and handcrafted items. Local and organic food vendors will be on site, as well as a retail store and juice bar collaboration between Wanderlust and adidas housed in a 60 foot, geodesic dome.
Wanderlust will donate $1.08 of each ticket sold to the Greater Houston Community Foundation’s Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. One hundred percent of donations to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund go to immediate and long term relief.
