What
East River welcomes runners, joggers and walkers of all experience levels to free community meetups with ZFT Run Club-Houston. The club gathers at Bayou Park every Saturday at 8 AM. Each meetup includes a structured warm-up, pace leaders and ZFT Run Club’s signature “run-walk-crawl” approach, creating an encouraging experience for everyone from first-time participants to seasoned runners. Following the run, guests are invited to cool down, connect with fellow runners and enjoy East River’s dining and retail offerings.
ZFT Run Club-Houston, founded in 2017, is the longest-running minority-led run club in Texas. Guided by its “RUN BETTER. LIVE BETTER.” philosophy, the organization uses fitness, social connection and professional networking to support a more active and connected community.
