Lawyers Turned Entrepreneurs Open Up a Natural Beauty Shop
Friendship Built in a Baby Music Class Blossoms Into a Business
By Linden Wilson Jobe //
After Hallie Lamont and Flauren Bender met in a music class for their first babies, the Dallas-based women who’ve both practiced law (Lamont, corporate law; Bender, health law) bonded over a shared love of health and wellness.
On Monday, September 18, the friends launch The Greenway Shop, a shop-within-a-shop at children’s boutique Madre on Lovers Lane.
With a strong focus on natural products, Greenway stocks holistic, toxin-free, and parabens-free skincare from Kypris, Shiva Rose, and Pai; non-GMO and soy-free RMS makeup; and botanically infused Kosas lipsticks.
There’s also Zoe Organics for moms and babies; beauty powder supplements from The Beauty Chef, designed to detox and purify the body from the inside; and ingestibles by Moon Juice — plant-sourced products beloved by Goop and Vogue with amusing names such as Spirit Dust and Vanilla Mushroom Protein.
“We are a whole family’s option for beauty and wellness,” Lamont says. “The Greenway Shop is fun — we offer clean, natural products everyone will love because of the stories behind them, the ingredients, and how they make you feel.”
