This year’s Baselworld — the world’s preeminent watch trade show — exhibited quite a few beauties from Harry Winston. For the collection, the house of Winston paid homage to its home city, New York, resulting in a moody and metropolitan series of timekeepers with dashes of Art Deco.
The Avenue C Dual Time watch will be the female globetrotter’s new sidekick, with its attractive second time zone function, superior to other dual-zone watches as both the hour and minute hands can be set using the double crowns on the side, allowing for non-standard time differences of half- and quarter-hour deviations.
The Midnight Diamond Drops Automatic 29 mm drips with diamonds against a backdrop of Harry Winston signature blue.
The Ocean Biretrograde Automatic 42mm combines the house’s mechanical prowess, with excentered hours and minutes and a double retrograde display, with 351 brilliant-cut diamonds.
On the sportier side, the 11th edition of Project Z is made of Zalium, an alloy exclusive to Harry Winston, sporting openwork structures, an off-centered grid, and is surprisingly light and durable for everyday wear.
