Dallas’ Best Open-Air Market and a Shopping Stroll
Highland Park Village Makes Spring a Thing
By Justine Pons //
In celebration of spring’s arrival, two fun-filled affairs are taking over Highland Park Village this weekend. Bring the family for a weekend adventure, or grab a handful of friends for lunch and to shop in support of local businesses.
Local
The open-air market, which debuted this past September and has since been a staple at the Village on third Saturdays of the month, will feature more than 15 vendor booths, Easter arts and crafts, face painting, live entertainment, and — perhaps most exciting of all — a petting zoo.
Browse leather goods and ceramics from Ora et Labora Collection; fragrant floral bouquets from Avant Garden; infused apple cider vinegar drinks from Mother Beverages; Sweet Virginia’s gourmet popcorn; handmade soaps and candles from White Rock Soap Gallery; Lucky Puppy Adventures customizable dog collars; chic children’s apparel and accessories from The Tot; handcrafted ceramic bowls and cheese boards from LemonGlaze; and more.
Saturday, April 15, 8:30 am to 1 pm at Livingston Court between Céline and Balenciaga; petting zoo from 8:30 to 11 am

Spring Shopping Stroll
The entire Village participates in this day-long event, where can’t-miss special promotions and seasonal sales can be found at various stores. Start the day at Bird Bakery for complimentary Kombucha, granola, and cookies; continue next door at Draper James, where an outdoor photo booth beckons; meander to Molto Formaggio for Italian pasta and wine; personalize a Barbara Cobb sunhat at Market during the designer’s trunk show; swing by TTH Forty Five Ten to sample Frost 321 gourmet sorbet; and — after indulging in all the delicious fare — let the experts at Dior Beauty provide lip touch-ups.
Plus, don’t leave without exploring one-day-only offers at boutiques including Theory, Tory Burch, TTH, Madison, and Alice + Olivia.
Saturday, April 15, 10 am to 6 pm
