A Private Perch at the Mall: New Special Event Venue Creates Major Buzz

Highland Park Village has hosted many a fashionable (or fit) pop-up, but a new limited-time opportunity is sure to dominate the social scene this spring.

Tucked above the Village Theatre and K.T. Burger, the luxe shopping center recently opened up a 3,800-square-foot private event venue for the next few months.

The space, which Garden & Gun magazine has already used for a festive soirée, includes two bars, two patios, and eight flat-screen TVs. With exposed brick and hints of the Village’s signature Mediterranean Spanish-style architecture, the setting is perfect for showers, anniversaries, or luncheons.

Invite 110 friends for a seated dinner, or fit up to 200 guests for mixing and mingling during a cocktail party. A range of furniture is available to rent, and catering can be provided by Village favorites like Mi Cocina and Bistro 31, or outside providers.
