Socks makes the man. Or, at least, they make the man more interesting. Too often, though, I see men wearing socks that show too much of their calves; when they cross their legs, the sight can be less than appealing. Or how about the men who wear white socks with dress trousers? Tip: Don’t do it.
So, make sure your sock is long enough to reach above your calf, and don’t wear white socks with your business suit or dress slacks. Other than those two basic rules, your road to below-the-waist creativity is unlimited. Reds, blues, oranges, purples … go for it.
