New Yorker Jennifer Bandier cut her chops in the music biz, working as an executive, managing Grammy–winning artists including ’90s cult fave TLC. Little did she know a broken foot would change her tune.
While recuperating from her injury, the glamour girl was uninspired by the lackluster activewear on the market. The solution, she decided, was simple: Create her own brand of stylish, gym-appropriate options.
Bandier, her namesake boutique and e-commerce site, launched in 2014 in New York City, with Southampton and Manhasset following, and a fourth shop just opened in Dallas’ Highland Park Village. Tapping into her knack for discovering emerging talent, Bandier sources both new and well-known athleisure labels, such as Outdoor Voices, Heroine Sport, The Upside, Splits59, Lucas Hugh, ADIDAS x Stella McCartney, Reebok, Under Armor and Nike. She also curates monthly playlists and posts them to her website — the perfect motivational mixes for your next Equinox session.
