Chance Eau Vive is Chanel‘s new fragrance, a concoction full of energy and the scents of grapefruit, blood orange, and jasmine.
I discovered Chance Eau Vive just as I discover most of my perfumes: by stopping someone dead in their tracks to ask what they are wearing (no harm in a compliment, anyway). After researching online, I made my purchase, and I’m so happy I did. I’ve always been a fan of Chanel perfumes, because the house takes its fragrances very seriously. And besides, who isn’t a fan of anything Chanel?
On me, the scent has moderate sillage, which makes it a great perfume for the office, lasting throughout the day. It opens with lots of citrus notes, then tones down a little and musk appears. Almost masculine, it’s still a fresh and pleasant perfume for many occasions. You can detect a bit of the original Chance, but this is a much more vibrant, youthful scent.
Chanel Chance Eau Vive is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette here.
