In the fashion world, you know you’re the real deal when this happens: British designer Sarah Burton taps you to walk in Alexander McQueen’s Spring 2016 fashion show. Sacha Maric photographs you for a feature in The Wall Street Journal magazine’s September 2016 fashion issue. And, fresh off the runway, you post an Instagram snapshot of you with designer Phillip Lim and five other models, with the caption “@31philliplim squad.”
It appears Sophie Jones — PaperCity magazine’s October print edition cover girl and the star of this month’s fashion editorial — is making it in a big way.

The Austin native first signed with The Campbell Agency in Dallas in 2013, soon followed by DNA in NYC, Oui in Paris, Why Not in Milan, and Premier in London. Then still in high school, she waited until graduation to make modeling her full-time gig.
Ever since, the fashion world has been knocking, and Jones has been trotting the globe to walk in shows for at least two dozen top fashion houses, including Alberta Ferretti, Calvin Klein, Dior, Fendi, Marc Jacobs, Peter Pilotto, Dolce & Gabbana, and Salvatore Ferragamo.
Here, she comes of age in the last year of her teens, in a final shoot in Texas before going global.
