By Rebecca Sherman //
A slew of Texas design notables will be on hand this week to christen the new Interior Home + Design Center at the Dallas Market Center. PaperCity contributing editor J. Randall Powers, who is also a design partner with Houston-based Visual Comfort & Co, will host a greet-and-meet on Wednesday, June 21 from 1pm to 3pm at Taylor’s. Powers will talk about his newest designs for Visual Comfort, and draw names to give away a pair of his Hargett buffet lamps. A celebration follows at 4pm.
On Thursday, June 22, the Interior Home + Design Center’s Day of Education provides inspiration from design luminaries including James Swan, podcast host of Million Dollar Decorating. At 11 am, Swann will moderate a panel of design experts Michelle Nussbaumer, Robin Baron, and Nancy Price. Following the program Nussbaumer will sign copies of her new book, Wanderlust: Interiors That Bring the World Home.
