For BeDESIGN co-owners Adrian Dueñas and Marcello Saenz, their uber chic emporium on West Alabama serves not only as showroom for contemporary European design but also as a venue that seamlessly combines business with the duo’s penchant for high-style entertaining. Case in point: The celebration of BeDESIGN’s exclusive representation of Giorgetti, the famed Italian luxury design house.
A coterie of interior designers, architects, art collectors and influential tastemakers gathered for the festive evening unveiling several of the brand’s emblematic pieces as well as the Giorgetti Maserati Edition, a line developed in collaboration with luxury automotive brand Maserati.
“In business and in life, everything aligns at the right moment. Giorgetti joining BeDESIGN feels exactly like that,” CEO Afrian Dueñas says. “We’re already seeing the impact with our clients, designers and projects. This partnership is built on synergy and a shared love for what we do.”

Sharing the love on this evening included tapping BeDESIGNs partnership with Houston’s new exclusive wine club 55 Seventy, which provided culinary offerings including caviar and blinis, tuna canapés and bites of tiramisu served with Franciacorta. This collaboration will include a demonstration kitchen on the main floor of the BeDESIGN showroom facilitating exclusive culinary experiences, private gatherings and special events.
In a special treat, Dueñas/Saenz besties Bonnie and Rob Lloyd provided chardonnay from their Napa Valley-based Lloyd Cellars.
The evening’s entertainment featured Steinway & Sons with pianist Mary Box performing three 40-minute sets. In between, Dueñas and Saenz made remarks on the showroom and the partnership as did Giorgetti Americas CEO Rami Riad.

In from New York City, Riad spoke of a compelling parallel between Houston’s remarkable evolution and Giorgetti’s history of more than a century. He reflected on Houston’s transformation into one of America’s most dynamic and prosperous cities and Giorgetti’s enduring legacy of craftsmanship, innovation and design excellence.
It was an evening bringing together the worlds of Italian design, automotive heritage, fine music, gastronomy and Houston’s creative community.
