PC Moment: Two keynote guest programs highlighted the day-long fête saluting everything new and fabulous in home design. PaperCity home design editor Anne Lee Phillips waltzed Pulp Design Studios‘ Beth Dotolo and Carolina Gentry through a lively conversation on the art of shaping the customer experience. Interior designer Fawn Galli shared highlights from her latest tome, Magical Rooms: Elements of Interior Design, and revealed her take on creating memorable rooms that are full of discovery and inspiration.
But those were just part of the activities the included not only showroom tours and socials but also showroom programs. Houston-based interior designer Anne Breux addressed a breakfast gathering in Madeval where she discussed how history, colors and more affect design and culture. The focus at Armony Cucine was on Italian innovation and advances in technology that are inspiring the latest trends in modern European cabinetry as discussed by Saima Seyar, owner of Elima Designs, and Wolfgang Pfirrmann, architectural designer and co-principal of Armony Cucine/ Amodo European Collection. In The Shade Store, Kaitlin Peterson, Business of Home editor in chief, moderated a discussion on the benefits of custom design solutions.
