The House of Kehoe
Houston Design Star Reveals his Gleaming New Digs
By Anne Lee Phillips //
Ken Kehoe is still expanding his CV, after more than 20 years in the interior design biz. Client consultations, ground-up construction, custom furniture designer, showroom owner… You name it, it’s on his list.
This fall, he opened his relocated showroom in a 6,000 square-foot space on the second floor of Decorative Center Houston.
Gleaming white walls provide the ideal backdrop for more than 70 marquee and indie lines, including Gracie hand-painted wall coverings; Million Dollar Decorators star Kathryn M. Ireland fabrics and furniture; preppy-perfect Quadrille and China Seas fabrics and wallpapers; and British mainstay Best & Lloyd lighting. Local design names include Rusty Arena rugs and Kelly Gale Amen furniture and fabrics.
New-to-Houston names include Hamptons-based Root Cellar Designs fabric and wallpaper; seating from Catbird Collection, with furniture by Bobby McAlpine and Susan Ferrier; and lighting by designer cult fave Coleen & Company.
