The powerhouse judges for the PaperCity Dallas Design Awards helped draw a huge number of entries.
The PaperCity Dallas Design Awards with Dunhill Partners at Dallas Design District finished with a robust 262 entries from top Dallas designers, architects, landscape designers and preservationists, recognizing outstanding residential interior design, interior architecture, retail, restaurant and gallery design, landscape design and historical preservation, along with other categories.
It was a tough decision for the judges as they sifted through 2,700 images of completed projects. The judges consisted of NYC architect Joel Barkley of Ike Kligerman Barkley Architects; NYC designers Brian McCarthy, Timothy Whealon, Robert Couturier, and Mara Miller and Jesse Carrier of Carrier and Company; and L.A. designers Mary McDonald and Martyn Lawrence Bullard. On Thursday, October 15, at 6:30 pm, the winning entries will be announced and presented by Brian McCarthy, Timothy Whealon, and Mara Miller and Jesse Carrier of Carrier and Company, at a cocktail reception at the new event space in Dallas Design District, 1250 Slocum, suite 758. Winning entries will be featured in the January 2016 PaperCity Home + Art issue. Congratulations to all! The PaperCity Dallas Design Awards With Dunhill Partners will be presented annually; the next entry period opens in April 2016.
