The limeston-clad, copper-roofed estate in River Oaks, with interiors designed by J, Randall Powers, architecture Drew S. Wommack, landscape design Johnny Steele.

The dining room with custom Rose Tarlow table that gave Powers many sleepless nights. Chairs are Thomas W. Morgan, chandelier is Dennis & Leen, lamps Visual Comfort, walls are in a Cameron Textiles silk velvet, and rug is Stark.

In the family room, sofa with Pierre Frey fabric from Cameron Collection, armchair in Jerry Pair suede from Dennis & Leen, coffee tables and sconces are Formations, side tables Rose Tarlow, art by Cleve Gray.

Houston designer Randy Powers, whose shingle reads J. Randall Powers Design, snags another coveted cover, Veranda‘s July-August cover along with 14 pages, for client X. The owners of the gorgeous Italianate palatial home are anonymous, but clues include: a low-key demeanor, River Oaks, limestone façade and copper roof, 14-car subterranean garage that doubles as a ballroom. Hmmmm … Johnny Steele designed the equally gorgeous Italianate gardens, and architect is Drew S. Wommack.
