Houston TV Billionaire’s Stunning River Oaks Mansion Hosts an Elves Party
and it Turns Into a Six Figure Kids Night
By Shelby Hodge //
What: 11th annual Santa’s Elves Party
Where: River Oaks home of Paige and Tilman Fertitta
PC Moment: While the Billion Dollar Buyer wasn’t there himself, Paige was on hand to greet the 350 guests who filled the estate with holiday cheer. While the Houston Children’s Chorus serenaded from the majestic stairway in the two-story foyer, guests raised funds to the tune of $100,000 for the M.D. Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital. Santa Claus and live reindeer frolicked across the lawn while guests supped on party fare from Landry’s Inc. and a string quartet performed sounds of the season in the family room. Seven Christmas trees and counting and fires crackling beneath the beautifully-decorated mantels set the mood as created by Richard Flowers and The Events Company.
Who: Santa’s Elves founders Patsy Fourticq, Greg Fourticq Jr., Diane and John B. Connally III; plus Dr. Ron DePinho and Dr. Lynda Chin, Kelli Kickerillo and Todd Forrester, Rachel and Daryl Bristow, Kristin and David Thrasher, Kelli and Eddy Blanton, Catherine & David Herr, Jerry Ann Woodfin-Costa and Victor Costa, and Sarah and Travis Covington.
