Here’s some news to sweeten up your week: IT’SUGAR, the world’s largest specialty candy retailer, is coming to Dallas. The candy giant, which has more than 100 locations in the United States, will open its first Dallas area store in the revamped Victory Park neighborhood this Friday, April 20.
The playful retailer offers a wide array of classic candy, gag gifts and unique novelty items in a fun, lively environment. Dallas’ 3,000-square-foot location will be the first IT’Sugar store to feature an ice cream shop.
“After much demand for IT’SUGAR in Dallas, we are thrilled to finally bring the brand to Victory Park,” Jeff Rubin, CEO and founder of IT’SUGAR, said in a release. “We look forward to sharing the IT’SUGAR experience with the community. Our vibrant stores are truly unique destinations filled with candy, gag gifts, and unique novelty items for people of all ages.”
IT’SUGAR was founded in 2006, and now has locations across the country including stores in New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami and Chicago.
Shoppers will be able to satisfy their sweet tooth with hundreds of confections, over-the-top treats, and ridiculous specialty items like an all-marshmallow cereal box, IT’SUGAR’s exclusive line of Saturday Night Live candy, and the world’s largest boxes of Nerds and Sour Patch Kids. Soon, the store will even offer a giant box of all pink starbursts (indisputably the most delicious flavor of the beloved fruit chews).
The cheeky store kicks open its doors on Friday morning, becoming the latest addition to “the new” Victory Park, which will soon welcome a number of new restaurants, retailers and a movie theater. Fittingly, the development will also be home to the Sweet Tooth Hotel, a sugar-centric pop-up museum, this May.
IT’SUGAR will be open Mondays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
