Renowned Pizza Bar Opens a New Dallas Restaurant
Prepare for a Truly Original Brunch Hotspot
By Samantha Klaassen //
Named for its two specialties — Italian oven-fired pizzas and an extensive drinks selection — Pie Tap Pizza Workshop + Bar has made its way uptown, opening a second location on Henderson Avenue.
Like its flagship restaurant in the Dallas Design District, Pie Tap offers scrumptious craft pizza, salads, sandwiches, and house-made pasta. Even better, brunch (the best meal of the week, in our opinion) is also now available on both Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 3 pm. Feast on classic items like French toast and biscuits and gravy, plus new creations like the smoked salmon pie — a ricotta pizza with Icelandic smoked salmon, red onion, dill, and capers.
And since brunch wouldn’t be the same without a nice, cold beverage, choose from $3 mimosas, $4 frozen bellinis, or $5 bloody Marys as well as cold-brew coffee on tap, rosemary lemonade, and freshly squeezed orange juice.

Known for its “Tappy Hour” — $2 off all taps on weekdays from 4 to 7 pm — Pie Tap’s Henderson location also offers a late-night version, featuring $2 off all taps from Sunday to Thursday from 9 pm to close, and $10 pies after 10 pm.
Pie Tap Pizza Workshop + Bar, 2708 North Henderson Ave., 972.432.7800.
