Houston’s Most Talented Chefs Step Up to Save Homeless Pets

How You Can Eat a Dream Meal and Help

BY Laurann Claridge // 03.17.19

What if you could treat yourself to a decadent multi-course dinner with wine and spirits from some of Houston’s most talented chefs, knowing that the proceeds would save the life of a homeless pet?

Rescued Pets Movement (RPM) is doing just that by hosting the popular Chefs for Paws progressive dinner with dishes from the likes of Ben McPherson (BOH Pasta), Kevin Naderi (Roost), Sharon Gofreed Leonard (Sweet Bribery) and Jonathan Levine, who hosts the event at his Memorial restaurant, Jonathan’s the Rub.

The big dinner takes place next Sunday, March 24, at 5 pm.

RPM is Houston’s largest volunteer rescue partner, providing a second chance for more than 30,000 homeless dogs and cats through rehabilitation and transport to forever homes in communities throughout the United States and Canada with a demand for adoptable pets.

On average, 150 animals are temporarily fostered in volunteer’s Houston area homes, then transported weekly from RPM to carefully vetted rescue partners in northern states.

Want to help? Simply reserve a seat for $150 per person at chefsforpaws.org. All the proceeds from your meal will give a forgotten pet a second chance at a forever home.
