Who: Celebrity fashion designer John Varvatos, with Anthony Davolos and Donna Faircloth, in from New York; host committee Michael Carroll, Allie and Jay Fields, Erin and James Stewart, and Anne Lee and Matthew Phillips; revelers Nancy Bihlmaier, Jeffrey Yates, Tony Bradfield and Kevin Black, Laurie and Teddy Dykowski, Maryam and James Khreibani, Gracie and Bob Cavnar, who are longtime friends with Varvatos, and Chelsea Cunningham with Christian McDermott.
PC Moment: The CFDA-award winning designer and Fashion Star celeb mentor touched down in Houston to pay a visit to his handsome boutique in the Galleria for cocktails with fans and to sign his tome John Varvatos: Rock in Fashion. A fashionable crowd — dressed appropriately in rocker fashion of leather and dark colors — mingled over bubbly and Old Fashioneds and posed for the instant moving picture photo booth by Phhhoto. In a true Texas welcome, Varvatos and crew were then whisked off to Armandos for a private dinner with the host committee and luminaries like Becca Cason Thrash, Ceron and Todd Fiscus, and Greg Fourticq Jr.
