PC Moment: The gents in black tie scored $850,000 for museum coffers on this night of wining, dining and voting on favored art selections from a group presented for purchase by museum curators. Among the 17 artworks purchased with $361,000 from the funds raised were the top vote-getters — Portrait of Alexander Arnold Hannay by William Nicholson and Hogan’s Alley by Stan Douglas. The good fellows dined on a brawny four-course meal from City Kitchen and were treated to cigars compliments of Davidoff.
