PC Moment: Patriotism and philanthropy were at the forefront of the Super Bowl inspired bash that raised funds for Historical Texas Treasures and its efforts at creating a small screen series that focuses on Texas’ human treasures. Astronaut Buzz Aldrin and a host of local beauty queens were at the forefront of the evening that included dinner, auctions and a concert emceed by Ernie Manouse, produced by Robin King and featuring Clay Walker, American Idol winner Jordin Sparks, and the Texas Turbines starring heart surgeon Dr. Billy Cohn. The indefatigable, amazing Joanne King Herring was the force behind the successful venture. Add Booker T to the celeb mix.
