What: Citizens for Animal Protection gala launch
Where: Tenenbaum Jewelers
PC Moment: Before the floods, a merry band gathered in the swank jewelry emporium to admire the sparkling baubles, salute CAP gala honorees Sara and James Parr, and raise funds for the beloved organization. Extending the welcome mat were the philanthropically-minded Tenenbaum owners Tony Bradfield and Kevin Black. Bosscat Kitchen provided the eats while Sensia Studio & Japanese Day Sap filled the swag bags. The Celebrity Paws gala, chaired by Brenda Love and daughter Lindsey Love, is set for November 18 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel.
The fundraiser could not have come at a better time. Tropical Storm Harvey has put the pressure on the organization which is caring for lost and stray animals. The call is out for a number of relief supplies including pet food, crates, paper towel, paper bowls, kitty litter, and blankets.
Who: Bruce Padilla and Shelby Kibodeaux, Kate Bush, Natalie Wall, Lynn Conner and John Frels, Gaylon and Don Gullquist, Megan Williford Kessler, Tracey Williford, Vincette Vidaurri, Nikki Richmond, Kyle Farmer, Keith Vassalo, Patti and Don Murphy, Hershey Grace, and Kappy Muenzer.
