PC Moment: Comedian John Crist tickled the ribs of the 500-plus guests who had arrived to eat, drink and be merry while raising funds — more than $500,000 — for brain cancer research at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
James Broach, who died of brain cancer in 2013, and his wife, Jamie Broach, created the foundation to raise monies for the underfunded research programs. To date, the foundation has raised more than $5 million for the battle against brain cancers.
