Lights…camera…action! The 2015 Dallas International Film Festival is turning Dallas into Tinseltown Thursday through Sunday, April 9 through 19. Hosted by the powerhouses at the Dallas Film Society, this is the ninth year the festival has drawn in star power such as Charlize Theron, Greg Kinnear, Amber Heard, Bill Paxton and, this year — John Landis, Stewart Copeland and the illustrious Blythe Danner, who will be amongst the crowd for the opening-night premiere of her film I’ll See You In My Dreams. Leading the charge for the fest are DIFF executive director and president/CEO of the Dallas Film Society Lee Papert, the film society’s chairman of the board Don Stokes, and artistic director James Faust — who will be all over town (along with over 40 “festival staff” members and hundreds of volunteers) throughout the impressive 11 days and nights of the festival. Touting more than 165 films on the docket, this festival has truly made a name for itself and draws in cinephiles from across the globe. Ladies and gents, it’s time to get red carpet ready. You never know where the paps will be. For ticket information or to learn more about Dallas Film Society, call 214.720.0555, or click here.
