What: Le Dîner en Blanc
Where: The Dallas Arboretum
PC Moment: Thousands of Dallasites got all dressed up in head-to-toe white and boarded buses to a secret location last Friday. Their destination? Le Diner en Blanc, the Paris-born epicurean phenomenon and dinner party.
The city’s third installment of the posh event, organized by RK Meetings & Events, led them to the Dallas Arboretum.
Once they arrived at the urban oasis, their work was not yet done. With tables, chairs, and ornate tablescapes (all en blanc) in tow, they set up and prepared for the night ahead.
Dinner, wine and champagne followed (no beer allowed at this feast). The party continued with a henna tattoo tent, music, dancing and a surprise drum line parading through the crowd.
However, the most magical surprise of the night was a bit quieter. One guest proposed to his sweetheart at sunset.
When the evening came to a close, guests packed up the sparkling decor and departed without leaving a sign of the elegant festivities. Luckily, there are plenty of photos. Take a peek into this mysterious event in the photo gallery above.
