Dallas’ Top Chefs Come Together for the Feel-Good Foodie Event of the Year
By Jane Rozelle //
Calling all gourmands! The time has come for the North Texas Food Bank’s annual fund-raising fête, Harvest. Grab those cowboy boots, bring your appetites, and scoot on down to The Shed at the Farmer’s Market on Thursday, September 15, when Dallas’ top chefs will be whipping up their noteworthy dishes. Stroll from station to station while mingling with fellow supporters of the organization and learning more about the wonderful work they do for the community.
The NTFB provides access to more than 170,000 meals every day for hungry children, seniors, and families through a network of more than 1,000 programs and 200 partner agencies.
Since its inception in 2014, Harvest has raised more than $550,000, and with chairs Mary Martha and John Pickens and honorary chairs Michal and Lloyd Powell leading the charge this year, we have no doubt the event will continue to be a huge success. Tickets available for $200; call 214.330.1396.
