What: DASH (Design-Art-Style-Home) First DASH preview party

Where: Silver Street Studios

PC Moment: You’ve never seen a more handsome group of shoppers (500 in fact) than those who turned out for opening night of this swank home decor market which transformed the vast art warehouse into a sophisticated souk. More than 80 vendors displayed their accessories, furniture and fashion wares in highly-decorated booths.

Applause, applause for DASH founders Angela Poujol, Michelle Maresh, Vanessa Sendukas, and Lisa Erwin for the grand effort and for the popular preview party that benefited Citizens for Animal Protection.

The four Houstonians brought together a personally curated collection of local and national dealers providing everything from contemporary and industrial design to decorative arts, jewelry, collectibles, textiles, and antiques. Think Round Top meets Modernism

Savvy shoppers are marking their calendars for the fall First DASH set for November 2 at Silver Street, also benefiting Citizens for Animal Protection. The event runs November 2 through 5.

Who: Susan Hanson, Tracy Eklund, Shelley Ulm, Kimberly and Marsh Porterfield, Greg Schenck, Kari Parsons, Alyssa Parson, Marlene Jessurm, Crystle Stewart-Sebrechts and Max Sebrechts, Brenda Stubbs, Nancy Hotze, Julie Samson, Trevor Castle, Kate Davis, Lisa Whipple, and Tracy Sarver.
